[CN Blue] Is First Foreign Artist to Perform in "Countdown Japan"
CN Blue has added another accomplishment on its long list of achievements for 2011. On December 28, the four-man band became the first and thus far only foreign band to perform in the prestigious Japanese annual year-end rock festival “Countdown Japan.”
CN Blue livened up the Galaxy Stage on the first day of the three-day rock fest with eight tracks from their various Japanese releases. Leader Jung Yong Hwa, also on vocals and guitar, led the crowd with a cheer and proceeded to open their performance with “Mr. KIA,” off their first major debut single, according to the recap on the “Countdown Japan” official web site.
The band continued with “Rain of Blessing,” also from the major debut release and “Illusion,” from their last indie release “392.” CN Blue then performed “Just Please,” “One Time,” “I Don’t Know Why” and “Kimio” from their earlier indie albums released in Japan. They ended their performance with “In My Head,” the title track of their major label debut.
“It is so cool to be here with dear artists. It’s a good way to spend the new year,” Jung Yong Hwa said.
Reports found it worthy to note that CN Blue sang only in pure Japanese and English, and that they were versatile in shifting their sound from rock to pop and back. “In My Head,” in particular was remarked to have been able to fuse both the rock and pop elements of CN Blue’s signature sound. A quick review also praised the complementary vocals of Jung Yong Hwa and fellow vocalist-guitarist Lee Jong Hyun, as well as the backing vocals of bassist Lee Jung Shin.
“Thank you. Thanks to you, this was really fun,” drummer Kang Min Hyuk is quoted as saying. “Let’s rock! I’m excited for next year.”

[SNSD] Nation'S No. 1 Band For 3Rd Year
you know the girls? B-Bring the boys out, haha it's just a little footage of the song lyric "the boys" of SNSD, but they really be proved :
Girls' Generation have been voted as the best singers in Korea for the third consecutive year, according to a recent survey.
Gallup Korea conducted a survey on 3,401 people aged between 13 and 59 nationwide and asked them to pick three singers or bands who had their best year in 2011.
The nine-girl group ranked first for the third straight year with 26.1 percent of the votes and emerged as the clear favorite among all age groups: 30 percent among teens, 29.2 percent among those in their 20s, 29.5 percent among 30-somethings, 25.2 percent among people in their 40s and 18.2 percent among those aged 50-59.
But for other singers, people's preferences differed drastically by age. While male idol groups such as Big Bang, BEAST and INFINITE were heavily favored by teenagers, those in their 30s and 40s preferred Kim Bum-soo, Yim Jae-beom and Lena Park, whose singing skills have come to the fore recently in the hit MBC TV show "I Am a Singer

"Me Too, Flower" OST Featuring BEAST and miss A Suzy Released
Monday, December 26, 2011
MBC released the OST for the drama "Me Too, Flower" which contains BEAST song "Dreaming" and miss A member Suzy's "So Many Tears," which will be sold online and in various record shops.
Together with BEAST and Suzy's songs, the OST album contains also Alex's "One Day Without You," but the album was released with the participation of different artists, such as underground singer like Taru, hip hop group A-Team and high school singer Seo Yeon.
Various songs from the OST reached the number one spot in online charts but the drama's viewers showed their support with the offline sales as well.
The album obtained a good response in Japan too, since Oshima Mai, leader of the Japanese girl group AKB48 participated in the album with the song "You" and another Japanese girl group Sherry sang "Oh My Boy."
"Me Too, Flower" is set to be aired on Japanese TV during the first part of next year. For the drama premiere, all the singers who worked on the OST will gather together for a concert, scheduled for the first months of 2012.

[IU] why doesn't she hold a solo concert?
Singer IU, who is in 1st place for popularity on this year's year-end concerts, has prospects of holding a solo concert for herself around next year.
IU guest performed on many concerts of popular male singers, such as Lee Seung Gi, Sung Sikyung, Sweet Sorrow, etc., and was highly popular. (IU also guest performed at K.Will's concert and even gave him a flower wreath, which read, "naneunyo oppaga joheun geol" - lyrics from 'Good Day'.) In particular, the guys who followed their girlfriends to the male concerts gave wild responses. It was said that that was the only time shouts from the male audience could be heard.
Receiving so much popularity for guest performances, there has been concern about the behind story as to why she hasn't planned her own solo concert. Having debuted for 3 years and with many hit songs, and even 'uncle fans' with financial power, those are enough to satisfy the conditions to hold a concert. SNSD and 2NE1 who debuted at about the same time have held concerts that sold out day after day, further proving their popularity.
However, IU plans to hold her own concert a bit later. A spokesperson from her agency told OSEN on Dec 27th, "In order for IU to present a concert closer to perfection, our position is that it's not the time yet" and "Following her album promotions, she has a tight schedule as she'll be debuting in Japan next year. If she were to hold her solo concert, we expect it'll be around next year then, won't it?"

[Super Junior] World Tour "Super Show 4" in Singapore Moved to February 18
to you the ELF singapore ! this info, that would in SS4 promote, but do not worry because just one day! for more details, let's see:
Due to a slight change in schedules, concert organizers Running Into The Sun and Conceptual announced that Super Junior will perform their latest world tour "Super Show 4" in Singapore on February 18, instead of February 17 as confirmed previously. Ticket sales will start in early January 2012, with further details to be announced shortly.
"As everyone knows, Super Junior's touring schedule is formidable. With the slight change in schedules, we hope this is a blessing for fans as the show is now on a Saturday," said Beatrice Chia-Richmond, Creative Director of Running Into The Sun.
Super Junior has led the Korean Wave to reach a global phenomenon. "Super Show 4" was launched in Seoul on November 19 and 20. Singapore will be their fourth stop, after Osaka and the upcoming Taipei show. Singapore audiences can expect an up-close performance on a stage that is "even more dynamic and on an even bigger scale than 'Super Show 3,'" as mentioned by the group's leader, Lee Teuk.
With the impending ticket sales, ELFs have been flooding the Facebook wall of Running Into The Sun with requests for a second night to be added as they are worried that the show on February 18 will sell out within two hours just like "Super Show 3," which took place earlier this year. It is certainly commendable that tickets for the two nights of "Super Show 3" were sold out in a matter of hours, during priority sales for credit card users under the official sponsor. Hint: it has been the same bank-partner for many past concerts organized by Running Into The Sun :) Good luck to all ELFs and Merry Christmas!
