Daegu IAAF 2011 line up- JYJ, Suju, BOA, Kara and more!!!!

Sunday, August 28, 2011

Up until now, IAAF World Championship 2011 at Daegu (South Korea) has been the most expected event of the year, not only by the sport maniacs, or those with full-on national spirit, but also with K-Pop fans.
Within this year, Korea has been hosting several international events, including ICAAP10 (with JYJ being there honorary ambassador, bringing huge success up until this point  with tremendous support from fans around the world) and at a greater significance, both in size and impact, the IAAF 2011 at Daegu. Korea has been making such good use if its national resources and strength, not only to provide great facilities for the event but also to attract a lot of attention from the press, and also, the people, not limited within Korea, but to the international extent.
With the Welcome Night on Aug 26 at Duryu Park, starting from 19:30, the event is planned with the ambition to show off the Korean tradition and culture, and South Korea today through different types of performance from different art groups. The highlight of the night (for so many Kpop fans out there) would definitely have to be the performances of the top Kpop artists, that till now, the line up is filled with SUPER STARS like: Super Junior, Kara, BOA and other bands. Ending with the Firework Display show at 83Tower (now this is what was on their website, but isn’t that the 63 building instead of 83????)
Now that’s H-U-G-E!!!!!!!!
Well, not letting the (obviously-expected) success from the Welcome Night  slip, IAAF 2011 would end on Sep 4 at Daegu stadium with yet another KPOP fever and spectacular Firework Display show. Until now, the line up for the Closing ceremony has still been a question mark for fans and those who are interested. This afternoon, however, the IAAF 2011′s twitter page has announced one of the artists/ bands to be performing on the night would be JYJ!!!!!!!!!! This brought about such a huge wave in Cassies community since we’re all yearning for JYJ’s next public appearance, and even greater, being one of the representatives for the host country in an international event.

So far, the tickets for Daegu have all been sold out/ nearly sold out :) and the ceremonies are unlikely to be broadcasted so fans, let’s hope our idols do well in showing off their country, and altogether, let’s wish for an extremely successful Daegu IAAF 2011!!!!!!!!
